 A rhyme is a traditional poem, rhythm or song that is taught to kids
mostly when they begin nursery school.
Learning verses and rhymes helps in the development and overall understanding of vocabulary as the child grows from being a toddler to a little boy or girl.

Summer is here and fun is the call
No school to attend until next fall
I'll play outside and on my bike
I'll ride from morning till noon mom's rule will abide. |

My teddy bear is my best friend
He'll sleep with me and never end.
He's cuddly soft, and very cute,
And never talks because he's mute. |

I like to wear my baseball cap
But I do not like to take a nap.
I like to run and skip and play,
And I want to do it everyday. |

The orange, the apple, the pear, and the peach
Are fun to eat while at the beach.
With so much fun and such good food,
That's more than enough to lift our mood. |
